The Ritual: 

STEP 1

DEEP CLEANSE WITH OUR GENTLY NOURISHING CLEANSING BALM.

Begin every routine with a spoonful of the Gently Nourishing Cleansing Balm with the bamboo spoon provided. Warm the balm between your fingers and apply to a dry face and neck. Place both hands over your face for a minute to inhale the wonderful aroma of grapefruit and lavender essential oils! These will instantly calm and ground you for the wonderful treatment that lies ahead! Spend some time massaging your skin to loosen make up, dirt and pollution. Remove with the super-soft bamboo cloth we provide in both our Ritual Box and our Starter Kit. We recommend double cleansing if you are wearing heavy make-up or SPF.

STEP 2

EXFOLIATE AWAY DEAD AND DULL SKIN CELLS WITH OUR GENTLY RESURFACING FACIAL EXFOLIANT

Now its time to remove any dull and dead skin cells to create that all important glow! The great thing about our exfoliator is that you can control just how scrubby you want it to be. If you have very delicate and sensitive skin and like an extra gentle scrub you can mix our Gently Resurfacing Facial Exfoliant with water.   Alternatively, if you feel like a more intensive (but still gentle) scrub you can mix a spoon of the exfoliant with a spoon of our cleansing balm. Go around the face in circular motions, paying attention to the nose and chin areas, where dirt can build up. Rinse off using a hot cloth.

STEP 3

CLARIFY YOUR SKIN WITH OUR CALM AND SOOTHE FACE MASK

Now your skin is all clean and soft, apply a generous amount of our Calm and Soothe Face Mask after warming a spoonful between your fingers. This can be left on for as long as you like. Its beautiful balmy texture means that, even though its clay based, it will not dry and crack like most clay masks. This mask is great for calming spots, pimples or inflammation and will help balance the skin to give a more even complexion. Remove with a hot cloth when you want to take it off. This mask can also be applied overnight onto spots to reduce the swelling and redness.

STEP 4

REPLENISH YOUR SKIN WITH OUR OVERNIGHT REPLENISHING OIL

Adding a few drops of this decadent blend of oils to your skin once you have removed your mask will nourish and feed your skin with an abundance of vitamins, omegas and antioxidants. Press 3 or 4 drops of the Overnight Replenishing Oil into the skin and be sure to inhale the exotic scents of jasmine and frankincense! We also recommend using this oil around the eye area to soften and hydrate fine lines, instead of having to use a separate eye cream. Do not apply anything to the skin directly under the eye, just on the orbital bone around the eye. Do not forget to apply some to your eyebrows too! This oil can also be used in the morning as a light moisturiser for dry skin and as a full moisturising treatment for oily/combination skin.

STEP 5

REHYDRATE AND MOISTURISE WITH OUR HYDRATION BOOST MOISTURISING BALM

If you have particularly dry skin, then you can apply the Hydration Boost Moisturising Balm over the top of the Overnight Replenishing Oil. Or it can be used alone if you prefer a balm texture to oil. Apply a small amount by pressing into the skin and remember that a little goes a long way. You could also mix the oil and balm together too, which is what we like to do! You can rub any excess into the ends of your hair, onto your cuticles or your heels.

Cleansing Balm Ingredients: pumpkin oil, safflower oil, coconut oil, east shea, mango butter, camellia oil, grapeseed oil, lavender essential oil, grapefruit essential oil, candelilla wax, vitamin e. And that’s it. No alcohol, artificial preservatives, parabens, phalates or fillers.

Exfoliant Ingredients: collidial oat powder, east shea butter, apricot powder, hibiscus powder, avocado oil, marshmallow extract, lavender e/o, frankincense e/o, sweet orange e/o, vitamin e. And that’s it. No alcohol, artificial preservatives, parabens, phalates or fillers.

Face Mask Ingredients:  babassu oil, cucumber oil, broccoli oil, hemp oil, elderberry oil, blue yarrow e/o, lavender e/o and bergamot e/o. kaolin earth clay, arrowroot powder, candelilla wax, vitamin e.

Replenishing Oil Ingredients: safflower seed oil, camellia seed oil, tomato seed oil, rosehip seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, prickly pear seed oil, olive squalane, watermelon seed oil, grapefruit e/o, lavender e/o, cedarwood e/o, jasmine e/o, frankincense e/o, patchouli e/o,  vitamin e.

Hydration Boost Balm Ingredients: mango butter, east shea, argan oil, babassu oil, olive squalene, hemp oil, rosehip oil, sea buckthorn oil, geranium e/o, lavender e/o, petitgrain e/o, palmarosa e/o, candelilla wax, vitamin e. 

Storage: All Meadow Skincare products will last 6 months from opening (3 months exfoliant). However, please store them in a cool, dry place to protect the natural ingredients inside and to help preserve their shelf-life.

Packaging: Recyclable glass pots and hard black plastic lids (which may be returned to The Contented Company - we will collect all lids and send them back to Meadow Skincare to re-use.)
