Plastic Free Solid Cleanser, by Beauty Kubes

Plastic free, palm oil free, solid facial cleanser Kubes. These super-gentle, face cleansing Kubes for normal skin types will revolutionise the sometimes difficult quest for a truly plastic-free bathroom.

Each box contains approximately 90 Kubes measuring just under 1cm³. Each Kube provides one, gentle yet highly effective wash, that will remove dirt and make-up from the face.

We have added skin soothing and nourishing ingredients such as oats, white willow bark, apricot kernel oil and a boost of vitamin E & Vitamin C. With skin nourishing and coconut milk to ensure the skin is cleansed effectively, yet gently along with our blend of gentle surfactants derived from coconut oil.

In our quest to leave as little negative impact on the environment as possible, Beauty Kubes have started to source upcycled ingredients for their products. We are happy to announce that they have used upcycled raspberry seed oil and in their skin care range.

How to use: 

1) Take one plastic free shampoo cube and crush into the palm of the hand

2) add a a few drops of water to make a paste

3) add a few more to make the lather

4) massage gently into your face

5) use a reusable cloth to remove stubborn bits of make up

6) rinse off with water

About Beauty Kubes

We set ourselves the challenge to create a range of solid shampoo and beauty products that were entirely free from plastics and vegan friendly. Although a lot of plastic bottles in the UK are recyclable, not many of them actually make it to the recycling bin. In fact in the UK 16 MILLION PLASTIC BOTTLES EVERY DAY* are not recycled but end up in landfill, or discarded. 

Most plastic bottles in the UK are manufactured in China, so they have already traveled nearly a third of the way around the world before they get to the UK. Each plastic bottle will be placed within an individual plastic bag, to protect it on its journey - that's a lot of plastic!!! 

So the concept of Beauty Kubes solid shampoo Kubes was born, thanks to inspiring programmes such as  the BBC's Blue Planet II and the work of local Cornish based charity, Surfers Against Sewage. We also read some eye-opening and frightening statistics from The Dame Ellen Macarthur Foundation regarding the sheer volume of plastic entering the world's oceans.
