Offsetting the Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Your Flights

With the Summer holidays fast approaching, many Brits will be thinking of jetting off from the UK to sunnier shores.   If you’re planning to hop on a plane this Summer, have you ever thought about the carbon cost of your holiday?   Your Carbon Footprint   Whilst the notion of a carbon footprint may be problematic in terms of fossil fuel companies off-loading their responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on to individual consumers, it is still a helpful tool. COP 26: What you should know

What does COP mean? C.O.P. stands for Conference Of Parties. These parties are the 197 countries that have signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In 1994 the UNFCCC recognised there was a problem with climate change and bound member states to act in the interests of human safety even in the face of scientific uncertainty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The objective of the Convention is to stabilise greenhouse gas concentrations "at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic (human induced) interference with the climate system." 3 Quick Tips on Transitioning to Non-Dairy Milk

1. Try lots of different milks I've settled on oat milk as I find the consistency (and taste) most similar to dairy milk. But others love Soy, Almond, sweetened, unsweetened. Have a play around to find what you taste buds like.🥛 2. Transition your (and your family's) tastebuds slowly. It DOES taste different. What I did was start by using 3:1 parts dairy to non dairy milk - in my coffee, on my cereal, in béchamel sauces, and slowly change the ratio. I'm now at 100% non-dairy most of the time, or at least 1:3 dairy:non-dairy. With this increase of...

Crystal clear waters in Venice. Turtles hatching from their eggs in peace and successfully making it into the sea in enormous numbers in India, Brazil, Florida and many other places.  Dramatic photos of clean air in places which have only known smog for decades have been circulating the internet.  Delhi The Himalays   Los Angeles And closer to home, Goats...
